Rose Robin - Petroica rosea
A gorgeous example of a male Rose Robin at the Western Treatment Plant, Victoria. Not a bird I had expected to see here, but I am happy with the end result.
These birds (like the rest of the Victoria's Robins) are sexually dimorphic, the male in this case being a beautiful pink colour, while the females are a bland brownish colour.
