When Does the Shelf Life Timer Start?

I can guarantee you 300 days from now is not what's on the package. (Although I can't verify that because someone at work was handing these "Pineapple Cakes" out.)

 

BTW, I gave this to a(nother) coworker so I have no idea what it looks or tastes like. (Instead, I am eating my Starbucks lowfat oat fruit scone, or whatever its' called.)
