Thursday fixit #16 after

An edit for Dave Cross's Thursday Fixit Challenge #16.

 

Went black and white, the cloud had a lot of texture and liked it better.

 

1. cropped out the trees, and cloned/healed the tall tree still at the bottom.

2. curves to bring out the clouds

3. gradient layer to fake an ND Grad filter

4. masked curves to change hills

5. darkened the water to make it all in shadow

6. masked (clouds) exposure layer to define clouds better

7. more brightness and contrast for the hills only

8. black and white adjustment

 

total time was about 30 minutes. I just borrowed a wacom tablet and tried it with this edit. It is easier to make adjustments and I think I will have to get my own now. :)
