Uphill trek
A cyclist climbs a steep hill called Kaulberg (Kaul Hill). The trucker (self-identified as Mia's papa) would like to pass, but has to contend with oncoming traffic on this narrow street. A bit of a traffic jam ensues. Bamberg has nice cycling paths and lanes in the low areas of the city, but not on the steep hills. It's simply too congested up here. So it's only the die-hard cyclists who attempt this climb. Two spires of the Bamberg Cathedral rise above the houses here. [SNY00329_lr_2000]
