On the road back to camp we came across this amazing encounter . There was a herd of Ellies with a number of youngsters with them , the youngest ( hiding behind mom) we heard was only 5 days old , unfortunately it was already quite dark and they were about 80 mtrs away from us at a waterhole .
Two Rhinos were also trying to drink , but the Ellies were very concerned about the safety of their young and were harassing the Rhinos , the Rhinos eventually had no option but to back off and let the Ellies drink in peace.
