Grandson Ethan's cricket game was shifted from tomorrow morning (Saturday) to Friday evening, and this game between Merivale-Papanui (yellow) and St Andrews College was played on the rubber ducky (artificial wicket) at Wairakei School.
A local cat with "Harry" on his tag (maybe the school cat) decided that cricket was fun and wandered around the players and umpires, and then came and lay down on a parent's orange rug!
