SYSTEM FAILURE?
U.S. Navy Grumman EC-2 Hawkeye at a joint forces exercise in Victoria B.C. 2007. I suspect there was a problem in the hydraulic system which made it necessary for crew members to physically move the wing into place, just a guess. When I first saw this happening it reminded me of a historic photo taken by Joe Rosenthal when the U.S flag was raised at the Battle of Iwo Jima in 1945, WW II. From my archives. For more info:
