CHEVY 5 WINDOW
This hot rodded Chevrolet pickup is a 1947 to a pre-54 with the optional quarter windows at the back which provided much better visibility over the older design. After the war GM wanted input from commercial truck users on how to improve their pickup trucks, popular opinion said more room and visibility in the cab and GM delivered. I know this is pre-54 because of the grille. Photographed outside a shop in Victoria BC Canada. For some reason the front window was never counted when a model was a five window or in some coupes with three window's, only the side and back window's seemed to matter.
