Hollyhocks

These Hollyhocks, (Alcea Rosea) have really been enjoying the hot spring, and early summer that we've had this year.

Often seen in English cottage gardens, they are tall and very colourful.

They have grown much taller this year? 1.5m. And given an impressive splash of colour.
