Rose-Ringed Parakeet
Also known as Ring- Necked Parakeets. These birds have had a population explosion in recent decades.
As the temperatures in south east England have warmed, and the winters have been milder, they have thrived.
A figure of over 30,000 was estimated over a decade ago.
They are thought to be descendants of escaped pets.
