American Bittern

This is the first reported American Bittern in Athens/Clarke County, GA. I wasn't the one to first find it, but it's a real treat to see one here and even nicer to get a shot! Hopefully he will stay around for a few more days so I can have some more chances for better action. He stayed in the same clump of grass for an hour preening. :D
