Studio stack: Leaf Rolling Weevil Mouthparts @ 40:1

Here is a (much) closer look at the interesting mouthparts of the leaf rolling weevil from the last post.

 

This is photographed @ 40X magnification on sensor with a Nikon M Plan 40/0.4 SLWD at 200mm extension. I've cropped the image resulting in a horizontal field of view of roughly 0.5mm across. Focus stacked from 89 exposures in Zerene Stacker (PMAX).
