Waiting for the Ecliplse ........

I headed out late afternoon a couple of weeks ago for the eclipse

I found a few fields not to far out of town and got permission to shoot there but this one was outstanding

I have never come across a field of bales that was so organized symmetrical and what a bumper crop .... so many bales !!

I ran around and shot this in the full moon before the eclipse

started

I did a slight bit of light painting to get some light on the front of the closest bales without washing out the shadows from the moon

The thing I love about full moon light is the blue tones you get in the sky

This is three horizontal shots stitched

I still have to finish working through the series of moon shots yet

I met a couple of photographers that were there also
