Caught alive

A female Peregrine Falcon teamed up with her mate, caught and carried a live dove.

 

While flying along a cliff, toward my camera, she was obscured by rocks, only exposed herself couple of seconds and the camera got her in focus.

 

This photo was shot in March, Spring in southern California, hence some wild flowers in the background.
