Some years ago, this could have been an Elkins to Belington turn job of the Western Maryland Ry returning to home base after interchanging cars with the B&O. Today it is a freight run of the West Virginia Central - the freight division of the Durdin & Greenbrier Valley RR. The DGVR mainly operates popular passenger excursion trains out of Elkins on former Western Maryland Ry and B&O RR track now owned by the State of WV. There are currently three freight customers near Elkins, a scrap yard, an oil distributor and a bulk transload operation operated by JF Allen Construction.
