Since the NS did not make their usual Saturday deliver to the Delmarva Central RR over the weekend, two shortlines were screwed as a result. On Monday the DCR Seaford Job had no cars to peddle that morning and we were lucky the MDDE had 1 car from the DCR interchange to return to Federalsburg with. That being a load of steel beams for a distributor. PSR at its best. On Monday the NS delivered 152 cars (2 normal deliverys) to the DCR for distribution on the Delmarva Peninsula - and that train was nearly 6 hours late. NS is the only outside connection to the world for these two shortlines.
