LTV 7216 West loaded train, Dunka Mine, Minn; Nov 30, 1990
RS11 7216 and C424 7230 leave the Area 8, a.k.a. Dunka Mine, with a 36-car train of side dumps loaded with raw taconite rock. Leader 7216 was bought from the BN in 1988 and came with a high short hood. Shop forces at LTV Hoyt Lakes chopped the nose and painted the unit in Aug 1990.
