MCKN - RLK 4095 South train #572, south of Meander River, Alberta; Sept 16, 2002__

Trestle Tuesday. Mackenzie Northern Railway southbound Hay River, NWT to High Level, Alberta train no. 532 crossing a wooden trestle near Meander River. This train was made up of empty tank cars that delivered loads of fuel used by consumers in the secluded Northwest Territories

This chase is the farthest north I have ever been. We were really hustling to get up here as we wanted a picture in the Northwest Territories of Canada. But we came up about 40 clicks short of the border with Alberta when we intercepted them. Too bad as I will probably never get up here again. MacKenzie Northern is now operated by CN. There is a whole lotta nothing up here.
