W&LE 6312 East no.768 loaded limestone, Pittsburgh Junction, Ohio
With the great weather last week I was able to get in a few nice chases on the Wheeling east of Brewster. One was of this loaded limestone train destined for the stone yard at Martins Ferry on the Ohio River south of Mingo Junction. Wheeling's 6312 has one of the better GM logos on the nose so this was not too hard to take in place of orange stripes. With all of the track upgrades in the area I would not be surprised to see the retired signals that once governed movements here cut down.
