BNSF Cody Local eastbound Himes Canyon, WY June 2002
The Cody Local heads through the short Himes Canyon along the Bighorn River. No roads here, hike in only. I first discovered this canyon while on a hi-rail trip shortly after hiring on with the BN at Billings as a dispatcher in 1988. Met my wife there. Don't take much for me to go back to visit my in-laws!
