Eye Castle aerial image - Suffolk fortress

A castle was first constructed here between 1066 and 1071. Most of it was demolished in the 14th century. A windmill stood on the motte from 1562 until a circular mock keep was built in 1844. Aerial of Eye Castle in Suffolk.
