Symphoricarpos albus var. laevigatus—snowberry. This is the upright shrubby variety found mainly in the Western United States and Canada, but introduced elsewhere. Other varieties tend to have a prostrate habit. The corolla, which are not fully open, measure from 4 to 6 mm. The small flowers will develop into the white fruits measuring up to 1 cm.
