Hukumumu

But it's true danger does not reside on it's powerful jaws, capable of crushing raw iron with a single bite. Nor on it's razor-sharp claws, perfect for both digging and ripping off skin, and neither on the deadly boiling venom it spits from it's mouth. No, the true danger cmes from the Hukumumu's pathological obsession with shoes. For, mind you, traveling the High Lowlands on foot is quite the hardship, and having a good fashionable pair of footwear with you can be really really helpful. For that reason, allied with a surprisingly acute sense of fashion, the Hukumumu's makes it's main life reason to search and collect the best footwear available on the planet, whatever the means necessary. In fact, this animal''s obssession is so ingrained in their biology, that mating and territorial disputes are all resolved by a contest of who has the better shoes, a fascinating event that attracts many tourists every year and boosts the local economy greatly. So, if you ever find yourself roaming around a Hukumumu's territory, and you happen to have feet, make sure to walk barefoot, or to bring a ridiculously rubbish pair of shoes, or else be stomped to death.
