Beer Butt Chicken Holder
This is the Beer Butt Stainless Steel Barbecuing Cylinder that you fill with whatever liquid you want and put the chicken on it. It works really great. It is much sturdier than a flimsy beer can. I bbq'd this 4 pound organic chicken at 400-450'F for about 1 hr. 15 minutes. I also tested it with a probe meat thermometer to ensure it was completely cooked. My Weber Grill gets super hot and has zone cooking, so by placing the chicken right in between the burners I was able to cook the chicken evenly. It came out fall off the bone tender. I like that this came with a handle also. It does help if you can hold it while removing the cooled down chicken. I got it at William Sonoma a few years ago at the Uptown Shopping Complex here in Albuquerque, NM.
