Dana Brooke
Raw Muscle
Professionally speaking, Dana Brooke is a fine example of bodybuilding dedication. There are lots of talented female wrestlers in the WWE, but none are built like Dana. Not since Beth Phoneix (and Chyna before her) has there been such physique on the Raw women's team. She's not afraid to take any anyone & things can only get better now that she's part of the 'Titus Brand'. This is her first time in figure form (with a new version hitting stores soon) so let's take a look at how it stacks up to the rest of Mattel's female figures.
The Look
For whatever reason, Mattel really struggles with female face sculpts. This isn't their worst (just look at the new Becky Lynch figure for that) but it's not exactly great either. The more I look at it the more I struggle to figure out what is wrong. They've nailed her big plump lips, and her hair is spot on (love the colour) but it's still not quite right. The only thing I can put it down to is maybe her cheekbones and nose? I don't know. It's an odd one, but as stated previously...there are worse.
Conclusion
Overall, it's a good figure. I much prefer the attire of her new release, but this still looks good. To have made it an exceptional release they should have given her a brand new sculpt. In reality, her body shape (especially her arms) is way bigger than this. I can see why they chose not to, but still...come on Mattel. Either way and despite the aforementioned new release, you should definitely still pick it up.
