Here to Show The World

Dolph Ziggler is one of those superstars who you kind of feel deserves more, but when you see him with gold around his waist...it doesn't look like it suits. He's had some questionable storylines, and his influence is a little TOO obvious (as this figure does show) but he sells well and he put's on a great show. It's really tricky where to put him on the roster; he's not the greatest, but he's not the worst either. He's Dolph Ziggler, and unfortunately (in my opinion) that's all he will be. Despite his obvious love for Shaun Michaels (aesthetically), he does have some great figures, and this is one of them.

The Look

I cannot find an image of him wearing this attire anywhere. The back of the box says it's from February 2016, but Google will not show me the goods. Very odd. Regardless, it's pretty frickin awesome. The vest jacket (which is definitely the highlight of the figure) has a Harley Davidson type logo on the back ('DZ Crew') with a matching logo on the ass of his tights. The motif (of the entire get-up) is a very simple Black with Gold, Grey and red dots scattered all around. It sounds a little random but is pulled off really well. The real detail is back on his top. Not only are there Grey moulded chains, but they act like a fastener too. If you remove the chain going across his stomach, it allows you to remove the vest jacket. It's such a simple design, but it works really well.

Conclusion

His head scan feels a little off (but only a fraction, it's still clearly him) and the polka-dot design may seem a little random at first, but this is a really cool looking figure. Plenty of details (from his boots to his jacket) and it's definitely up there as one of the best designs ever released. Definitely worth picking up, even if you're not his biggest fan.
