I never had these as a kid but a friend of mines older brother did. Or he still had the empty box I should say. I saw it and spent a good portion of the day staring at it, wondering what they did besides walk? Transfixed by how cool they looked and what was in the haunted house they were parading by. These were on and off toy shelves by 1971. It was the summer of ‘72 I noticed them for the first time and they haunted me throughout the rest of my childhood into my teens and into adulthood. I got my first set on eBay like 20 years ago and obviously fell in love with the whole gang.
