I can't even begin to relate in mere words how cool this kit is!! In the later 1950s America's # 1 retailer (at the time) Sears~ got all hot over Mr.Price who was well known as a Bon Vivante, Art lover , discerning Gourmand and World traveler and took a gamble on just how impeccable his tastes were. They asked him to not only select some works of Art from Human History to reproduce and sell to "Mr.& Mrs.America", but also to endorse the line with his name. The concept being "Art" belongs to and should be enjoyed by everyone. Not just a picture in a book, or hanging in a Museum halfway around the World or just the extremely Wealthy. So he went nuts and picked his fave pieces. America got instantly beautified and the bet payed off BIG TIME. I usually disdain the fact that People are sheep that need to be told what their tastes are but in this case~ it makes me very happy because otherwise we might not have the item I'm gushing about right now. In 1961 the Monster Craze was in full effect and so was the Home Movie making bug and due to the success mentioned above Sears issued this~ The Vincent Price Movie Maker's Outfit. All you need is an 8mm or Super 8 camera and with this kit you can film "Dr. Psycho and Mr. Hideous"!!
