Taking a rest

On our safari in Tanzania's Arusha National Park, I was shocked when I saw this giraffe. We are so accustomed to seeing giraffes standing tall and rarely sitting down on the ground. There were a group of maybe 12 giraffes all taking a short rest before resuming eating activities.
