Jambon et fromage
"Life's a game, but it's not fair. I break the rules, so I don't care. So I keep doing my own thing. Walking tall against the rain." : Run This Town - Jay-Z feat. Rihanna & Kanye West
It was such a beautiful day here in Las Vegas. Weather was a very nice 21°C. Being that The Girl had half day today, I decided to take her out to lunch at a local French bakery.
Ordered a half ham & cheese on a country baguette and a few pastries and enjoyed them outside.
My friends know I rarely do candid street photos as I I tend to actually approach the subjects and give them direction, so much for a candid.
To get OT for a bit, I recently went with another photog friend on a photowalk in San Francisco and totally bombed. I felt bad that I wasn't able to help her out. Editorial photos are more of my thing. So sorry! Still friends? XOXO :D
For this photo I wanted that solace innocence of a child. I moved the table under the shade as far as I could. I then asked The Girl to face me while eating the last of her sandwich so that the sun would light only half of her face. I told her to try to really taste how good the ham was. As she bit down on the sandwich I found the expression I was looking for.
