Canon PowerShot G2

After running wild with my Mavica I picked up a Canon PowerShot G2 and started to learn off that. This was the first camera I owned that had manual controls.

I continued to use this camera all the way up till last Father's day when my family saw fit to give me my current camera a Canon 40D.

I've only been shooting with an SLR for a year and I only started with flash photography since October of 2008. As you can tell I have a ways to go but I'm having fun everyday.

For this photo, I wanted to show the beauty of this simple point and shoot so I simply lit it with just 1 flash in a shoot through umbrella to the right so that I could have the shadows fall off nicely camera left.

And yes my PowerShot is the black edition.
