Caught Off Guard
Heard the dispatcher talking to an eastbound as I left home in search of some activity. We zig-zagged west to intercept him. At Plato Center, I commented to my son how the curve looked good. Not knowing he was so close, I started to head west again. Just as we got to the "dark side" of the tracks, the crossing protection activated. I had just enough time to jump out and capture him on the wrong side of the sun. I didn't have time to change lenses, so this is a dramatically cropped photo.
