A Day At Porter

A brace of C30-7s race across where the diamonds for the MC once were.

Only the diamonds were gone. The line connected with the NYC line on either side. The connection switch isn't visible in this scene, but it curved off to the right and allowed Amtrak to reach Michigan. To the left out of the frame is a connection to the west which allowed eastward CR trains to access the IHB.

The connection switch to the right of the head car is the B&O/PM line to Grand Rapids, MI. Chessie would use trackage rights to Chicago.
