Skunked Again!

What should have been the westbound Capitol Limited turned out to be a train bound for the Shenandoah Sub, which veers off (to the right in the photo) at the tunnel exit. It then crosses the Potomac on its own bridge which wasn't visible from my location. Along the south side of Harpers Ferry it runs along a wooden trestle which I've always wanted to shoot. This makes the third time I've been to HF and a train has headed off towards the Shenandoah Sub while I was in the wrong place. Once I was right at the trestle, but didn't have my camera ready. The the other time I was on the bridge along the main (there is a public walkway along it). Anyway, I should have listened to my son who wanted to play on the north platform. I tried explaining to him that the sun would be wrong for the Amtrak. Well after Amtrak came and went, I satisfied his yearning and noticed that a shot of the Shenandoah Sub over the Potomac was indeed possible from there!
