Homage to Clarke Renard
Last week we lost our friend Clarke Renard. Many photographers spoke of how Clarke influenced their photography. By the time I met Clarke I had been shooting trains for some time. We shared an affinity for the I&M Rail Link and later the IC&E. While I had covered the line pretty well, Clarke directed me to his favorite haunt at Brier Hill Rd. While I had passed it by many times as a tight wedgie, he pointed out that it was a cresting grade if you walked in a bit. So here it is Clarke, a shot inspired by you. God bless you and your family.
