Elena
For this image of Elena, which was shot at a workshop I was teaching in Italy, I used two 7ft Westcott umbrellas with diffusion to create one large soft modifier, demonstrating one of the most beautiful lighting sources on the planet; the cross light Rembrandt Triangle. For over twenty five years this was my go to look and it wasn't until around five years ago that I started experimenting with different lighting techniques, but it is good to revisit this look.
