Jim Stucky- Kansas Wheat Field

While teaching at the Kansas School event last month, I photographed one of the event coordinators, Jim Stucky dressed as a farmer (very convincing.) The background was shot just a mile or so from Bethel College where the event was held. I was up at 4:30 the first morning to get this background and by that afternoon the wheat had been cut.

Three light setup on Jim, one 5ft. Westcott Octobank overhead and two large Westcott soft boxes from the sides.

The background was shot in three exposures, one normal, one two stops under and one two stops over to create an HDR image.
