Moscow Metro
The most amazing thing about Moscow, honestly.. is the metro stations, and the underground metro that connects them all.
Seriously.
I spent my last roll of provia 400 on the way to Red Square, on the train.
Just don't make eye contact with anyone, and you're good to shoot from the hip for hours.
The roll of Provia was purchased in the underground mall just outside Red Square (where the first Russian McDonalds is). It was one of two rolls, and I bought them only for the reason I was running out of film. So, to make this long story shot.. The camera place where I bought it, had the roll in an un-refrigerated case with the rest of the cheap film. The film had to of been there for over a year. The boxes were old, and film expired by a year. To make matters more interesting, I had this film developed when I got home to California. So, 2 xray machines later.. this is what I got.
The most unique looking Provia I've shot to date. No color correction, just a slight contrast curve to pull more info up, and crush the flattened blacks.
chrome film. I love it.
