Taking It Back
Inspired by the notion that Mother Nature is starting to reclaim what was taken and then forgotten about.
This was taken inside an abandoned zoo in Detroit. Rob, Ali, and I decided to try and find our way inside and after a nice stroll through Jurrasic Park style foliage, we finally found a hole through a lion enclosure and crawled our way through the zoo, ending up here. I loved the way that the vivid colours of the graffiti played with the bright green of the vines growing through the building and it inspired me to create this scene, forgotten visitors being consumed by nature.
