arachnophobia
my entry for My Face Is My Canvas Emulation #90
My brother had a tarantula named Henrietta at one point. I'm not sure where he got her from and I'm totally suprised that my mom let him keep it in his room. She didn't bother me at all, just a furry thing that hardly moves...I don't mind bugs, if I find one in the house I usually just pick it up and toss it out the window onto the grass.
Today was the craziest day (as my Saturday's have been of late). I agreed to do some facepainting for my 4 and 5 year niece's combined birthday party. That in itself was a "What was I thinking" moment. Not only that but this morning I had the grand idea of cycling to the party which was in the next town over (about an hour and a bit ride). Just as I left town the rain started and then drenched me within minutes. Managed to get to the party a little wet but thankfully had a change of clothes and it was all good. The facepainting was fun but challenging since kids don't like to sit still and they ask for things like a puma or a specific cartoon that I've never heard of. Thankfully most of them wanted tigers and rabbits and one little guy stole my heart when he asked for the "scariest skull ever".
