A Passage
Passage is one of those words that has multiple definitions. It could be:
"the act or process of moving through, under, over, or past something on the way from one place to another." or maybe "a short extract from a book or other printed material" or even "a journey or ticket for a journey by sea or air."
For my image I suppose all three of those fit. I was inspired by the year I've had, the passage from this sometimes turbulent one and toward one that is unknown but hopefully lighter. A song that I listened to a lot over this year was "Bridge Over Troubled Water" which is what I was listening to when I came up with this image idea. A passage of this song helping me create an image that reflects the passage of the year, my own passage into the new.
