The Smitten Tresttle

This week's COVID-19 Adventure And Picnic took us to the Christina Lake area of British Columbia to explore some of the railroad bridges. Built in the late 1800s, the Kettle River Trestle Bridge or the Kettle River Number 5 is 157 metres long (515 ft) and crosses the Kettle River near Christina lake. Today the bridge is known as the Smitten Trestle and is one of the longest on the Canadian Pacific Railway.
