Conrad Bali: Infinity Chapel
© yohanes.budiyanto, 2009
One of the most stunning chapels in the world. The Infinity Chapel at the Conrad Bali has become a host to many unforgetable wedding events, including one for a close friend of mine. Built atop a vast manmade edgeless pool, the floating beachfront Chapel stands out above the grounds and sea with stunning sunset as its backdrop. With an area of 117m2 and 12m high ceiling, it could well accommodate 60 guests. This chapel has been the sole reason for my choice of staying at the Conrad Bali.
Best of all, this chapel is designed by three of Indonesia's most prominent architects: Andra Matin, Anthony Liu and Ferry Ridwan, the 3 undisputed master of Indonesian contemporary architecture.
