this is Américo. as he came to me and remind me his name, he proudly told me about his 88 years old. and about his 89 year old friend that recently passed away.
in those 88 years he met so many people i’ve never met, but also a few that touch my heart deeper. he walked side by side with my grandfather and I’m sure that one day they got to play cards together - i wish i had that same chance too. and in all those years he passed daily by my grandfathers house, probably even twice a day, behind his huge herd of goats. He had them for 30 years, he told me.
