North American AT-6 Harvard II

This American single-engined advanced aircraft was mainly used for training, but in many cases it was also repurposed into combat roles. The aircraft served in a great many air forces around the world in the mid to late 20th century. After serving in air forces, it also went on to be displayed at air shows and museums as a warbird.

Designed by North American Aviation, the T-6 is known by a variety of designations depending on the model and operating air force.

The T-6 Texan remains a popular warbird used for airshow demonstrations and static displays. It has also been used many times to simulate various historical aircraft.

A total of 15,495 T-6s of all variants have been built.
