Hoof Fungus Fomes fomentarius (Young)

Hoof Fungus, young ones it took us quite a while to ID these but after a thorough investigation into them we realised this is what Hoof fungus looks like when it's young - well we all have to start somewhere and then grow. The whole tree had them growing in all stages.
