Dryad's Saddle Polyporus squamosus

Dryad's Saddle new growth, I am so used to seeing them like dinner plates it was different seeing them like this. And this time I did get my feet wet!

I am not sure what the globules of water are, drips from the tree it was under or was it exuding some fluid?
