For the wonderful and lovely group Parallel Vision...

 

The word for the week is Connection...

 

Now I have to take a moment and GUSH. It has been a truly wonderful week:

 

1) I won first place in the "I heart Faces" photo challenge and received some AMAZING textures from Shana Rae that I literally was just about to buy for myself as an early birthday gift. It was my first time entering... thanks Rosina for mentioning the texture challenge to me! You are a doll!

 

2) Cory and I walked into our favorite sushi place to get some lunch and saw his business card had been selected in their monthly drawing ($50 gift certificate for us!)

 

3) I was the recipient of a pair of earrings from a giveaway hosted by the incredibly lovely Westsidebeadery {Barb} (who also happens to be co-creator of parallel vision).

 

4) Got to watch my uncle (who is a Portland Police Bureau Lieutenant) and Cory plunge. Which also means the end of Cory's month long beard growing experiment (yay to being able to kiss a smooth face again).

 

5) Received an invite to participate in a "simulation activity" from the PSU Graduate Teacher Education Department which means they are seriously considering me for acceptance into their program.

 

6) Received some very special letters and emails that truly touched my heart and solidified that I'm making the right choices when it comes to living my life.

 

7) Got to buy wonderful, beautiful, useless things such as the balloon in the above picture because it is almost Valentines Day (Feb. 14th!) AND almost my birthday (Feb. 3!).

 

8) Just started a new group here and am so thrilled with how it's being accepted...

 

9) Got to get together with a dear, dear friend that I hadn't seen in FOREVER. He is a blessing...

 

10) Cory got to use some of his vacation time from work and we were able to spend some special time together taking photos, watching movies, eating, chatting, and laughing.

 

At the beginning of the week I was having health problems and now look at all the things I have to be thankful about! I feel so blessed...
