Higher decency... Purer Purpose

I have been unable to post for awhile. I've been busy working and recuperating.

 

I was on a family vacation for a week (it was nice being able to go seeing as though I have been unable to for the past couple years due to work). While on vacation I was battling a horrible cold and cough... it went away for awhile, but now it is back again in full force. The cough isn't so bad this time around, but I have a throbbing headache and runny nose (it makes me feel OH SO glamorous). Cory thinks it has something to do with my allergies and my immune system during this time of year.

 

I've also been experiencing a flare up with my ulceratiive colitis. I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist to figure out our next plan of action. I'm pretty worn out and am just ready to find out how to keep this pain at bay. I feel like I'm always sick... it's draining.

 

August 10th marked Cory and I's 2 year anniversary. We weren't even able to spend it together (It was right when my family planned their vacation). But we celebrated upon my return. This past year has been a rough one, but we have come out on the other side of it hand in hand.

 

I had a show at Ella's Boutique in Portland. I wasnt really able to fully enjoy it due to this annoying flare up, frustrating cold, and work, but I'm happy to have shown there none the less.

 

I am behind in my blogs and website. Hopefully this marks me getting back in the habit. And hopefully all this pain goes away shortly...
