Gear Wall / Bag Lust
My collection of mountaineering gear hanging on my wall. Others collect designer bags - i can never understand such lust for bags that aren't even functional in the first place, yet costs more than an average Filipino family can eat for a few months. I collect bags that are durable, functional, and most of all - can take you anywhere.
Left to right:
1.) Gregory Z65 (65 liters capacity, Tin Roof Gray)
2.) Kelty Storm 3600 (about 60 liters capacity, the oldest internal frame among the line-up and has taken me to many mountains here in the Philippines)
3. ) Osprey Kestrel 68 (68 liters capacity, my new favorite and my go-to back for future mountaineering trips)
also in the picture is a hammock from Driftwood Designs (a local outdoor brand), Eureka Riner sleeping bag, and an ALPS Mountaineering Mystique 1.0 tent. Topping it all is a blue Therm-A-Rest Backpacker 3/4 self-inflating sleeping pad on top.
